Installation Instructions (A5s / A1 / A3S V2)

Installing the firmware is easy, and it is the same process for both the official and the community firmwares.

  1. Copy the firmware file onto an SD card
  2. Turn the printer off and unplug it.
  3. Wait 30 seconds.
  4. Put the SD card into the printer.
  5. Plug the printer into power
  6. Wait 30 seconds.
  7. The printer will automatically detect the firmware file, and update the printer with the new firmware.
  8. You're done! Happy Printing!

If you have any problems, please format the SD card, and try again. Or, try a different SD card. Please note, the firmware file is automatically removed from the card after updating.

To switch back to the original factory firmware, simply follow the same exact method. You can download the latest factory firmware from JGMaker's official website.
